Last 50# of mud upstairs still not dry.  Have I mentioned that I LOATHE drywall work?

Anyway....decided to remove forms among other things.

First time or not, this didn't turn out too shabby and it's drying to exactly the color I'd hoped for.

Ready to add tile backsplash

Have to let it dry completely before I can seal it

Upper floor body painted!  Still have to paint trim & fascia

Painted light fixture to match other oil rubbed bronze fixtures

1st of 3 curing fires for new refractory panels & mastic

Counter's lightening up as it's drying

Will remove forms and prep for sealing next week

Fireplace repairs nearly done

Upstairs framing & drywall done, ready for tape & texture

Next step is final burnishing with steel trowel and application of curing agent!

Ready to cast in place concrete countertop tomorrow!

Ready to start masonry work on fireplace this week!
